  • Cookies: We may use cookies to store session data and gather analytics about usage patterns to improve the App’s functionality. See the “Your Choices” section for details on managing cookies.
  • Analytics: We may use third party analytics services to collect information about how you interact with the App. This may include IP addresses, browser type, and usage data. Please refer to third party analytics services for more information.
  • Location Information: We may collect your approximate location based on your IP address.

3. Information We Collect from Financial Institutions

In addition to the information you provide directly, we may collect personal or financial information about you from financial institutions with whom you have a relationship. This may include:

  • Account Information: Details such as account numbers, account types, and balance information provided by your financial institution.
  • Transaction Data: Information about recent transactions, direct deposits, or payment history that helps us provide our services.

We collect this information to streamline your onboarding experience with the financial institution, set up direct deposits, manage subscriptions, and offer other personalized services as part of your relationship with that financial institution.

Why We Collect Information from Financial Institutions

We collect and process data from financial institutions for the following reasons:

  • Service Delivery: To complete services like account setup, direct deposit, subscription transfers, or verification actions on behalf of the financial institution.
  • Enhancing User Experience: To personalize and improve your experience with the financial institution, such as by creating custom onboarding workflows.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for purposes such as:

  • Providing Services: Facilitating the onboarding experience with financial institutions and third-party services, including direct deposit setup and subscription transfers.
  • Enhancing User Experience: Aggregating data to better understand usage patterns and improving the design and functionality of our Platform.
  • Marketing and Communication: Sending marketing materials to you, responding to inquiries, and keeping you informed of updates or new features.
  • Security and Compliance: Protecting the Platform and its users by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards, such as data protection regulations

Data Sharing and Third-Party Providers

We work with financial institutions and third-party services (e.g., Plaid, KnotAPI, Atomic) to deliver our services. By using our Platform, you authorize us to share your personal data with these providers for purposes such as:

  • Direct Deposit and Subscription Management: Sharing data with trusted third parties to facilitate the services you have requested.
  • Data Aggregation: Sharing anonymized or aggregated information with third parties for analytics or marketing purposes.

We also may share data in the following circumstances:

  • Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and personal data by contacting support@swaystack.com. Please note that certain information may be retained to comply with legal obligations.
  • Cookie Management: Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie settings. Disabling cookies may impact your ability to use certain features of the App.
  • Do-Not-Track Signals: Our App does not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals from browsers.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, such as:

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object to processing

We implement security measures to protect your data, including encryption, access control, and secure data storage practices. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Users can request data deletion by contacting us, subject to any legal requirements to retain the data.

Children’s Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that we have collected information about a child under 13, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete the information.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices. When we do, we will update the effective date and notify you by posting the updated Policy on our Platform. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
